THE RAMADAN MONTH IMAM MALIK AND IMAM SHAFI FASTING
The Ramadan month is unique month for the Muslim. Islam laid great importance on the recitation of the Holy Quran. In the Ramadan month, the elite muslim used to recite the Holy Quran more and more. Therefore, Imam Abud Hanifa and Imam Shafi finished recitation of the Holy Quran for two times in 24 hours.
Whereas, Imam Malik used to spend his entire time in the recitation of the Holy Quran. He would recite the Holy Quran for almost all time in the Ramadan month.
The great Imam abstained from every worldly act during the entire Ramadan month.
THE FASTING AND THE HOLY QURAN PRAY
Islam tells that the Holy Quran and the fasting in the Ramadan month pray for forgiveness of a person. This pray shall be pronounced on the Day of Judgment.
Allah (God) will accept the pray and forgive the fasting person. A hadith expresses the fact:
“Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr narrates, the Holy Prophet said that the Holy Quran and the Fasting shall pray for forgiveness (before Allah). The fasting shall say, “Oh Lord! I abstained the fasting person from eating and desires, so, accept my pray for him.”
Therefore, And the Holy Quran shall say, “Oh Lord! I abstained the fasting person from sleeping, so, accept my pray for him. Allah shall accept both.”

PARADISE DECORATION FOR THE RAMADAN MONTH
Since, the Ramadan month is the most blessing month for the Muslim. For this month, the paradise is decorated from the very start of the Islamic year. This decoration seems like continue till the next Ramadan month.
The women of the paradise (Hoors) pray on the first day of the Ramadan month.
As Abdullah bin Amr narrates, the Holy Prophet said, “Paradise is decorated for the Ramadan month from one to next year. The special breeze flows underneath the skies and reaches to the leaves in it. The breeze flows on the first day of the Ramadan month.”

NO COMPENSATION AGAINST THE RAMADAN FASTING
Allah has attached great significance to the Ramadan month. He does not wish that the Muslim become lazy in this month. He has made the fasting compulsory on every Muslim.
Consequently, Allah has not put any option or form of compensation against the fasting forgiving.
As a result, Every Muslim has to keep fast in the Ramadan month except under special circumstances.
Hazrat Abu Harira narrates, the Holy Prophet said, “He, who leaves the fasting of even one day without any reason, cannot make compensation. Whether he keeps fast for the entire life.”

THE FASTING IS BODY CHARITY
In addition to it, Islam has treated the fasting as charity of the body. It has mentioned other benefits to the person while fasting. Therefore, the fasting is not only good for spiritual purpose, but also for bodily health.
Hazrat Abu Harira narrates, the Holy Prophet said, “There is charity for everything, Hence, the fasting is charity of the body.”
ONE GREATEST BENEFIT OF THE FASTING
Finally, the fasting elevates the spiritual status of a person to great heights in the Ramadan month. It has such reward as Allah alone would give. Similarly, a hadith speaks about it.
Hazrat Abu Dardah narrates, the Holy Prophet said, “He who keeps the fasting of one day for Allah, He creates such trench between the fasting person and the Hell as the distance between the Heaven and the Earth.”
